Dia is an AI-powered web browser developed by The Browser Company, the creators of Arc Browser. Built on the Chromium engine, Dia embeds artificial intelligence directly into the browsing experience, allowing users to chat with open tabs, receive inline writing assistance in any text field, summarize web content, compare products, and get contextual help that understands the entire browsing session. The browser features a Skills system for task-oriented shortcuts, supporting both built-in and user-created actions for workflows such as summarization, outlining, planning, writing, and coding. In March 2026, Dia introduced third-party integrations with Slack, Notion, Google Calendar, Gmail, and Amplitude, enabling the AI assistant to pull context from connected services and generate reports, summaries, and presentations. The Dispatch feature, launched on March 17, 2026, allows users to initiate and monitor complex AI tasks on their desktop from a mobile device. Additional features include a Memory system that learns user preferences over time, vertical tabs, focus mode, tab groups with color coding, Google Meet picture-in-picture, and custom keyboard shortcuts. Dia is currently available on macOS 14+ with Apple Silicon, with a Windows version in early testing as of March 2026.
